Filmmaker Vikas Bahl’s ‘Shaandaar’ starring Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, which has been shot in some of the iconic locations of North Yorkshire in United Kingdom, has something in common with the famous ‘Harry Potter’ series. And it’s the Goathland Station where the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise was shot, that can be easily recollected as the pick up point of the Hogwarts Express.

Vikas Bahl undertook an extensive recce and finalised the iconic location which was untapped by Bollywood. However, the ‘Shaandaar’ team faced obstacles while filming at the location due to lack of connectivity.

The lanes leading to the station were extremely narrow thereby halting traffic each time a scene was being shot.

This obstacle was overcome with a lot of help by the locals of North Yorkshire who extended immense co-operation and ensured that the shoot ended hassle free.

The entire team of ‘Shaandaar’ were in awe of the kind gestures undertaken by the locals to ensure smooth functioning of the film.

Directed by Vikas Bahl, ‘Shaandaar’ is all set to release on October 22.
