“I feel I never had a hit film in my life, so I yearn for that,” Sikander Kher said.

Actor Sikander Kher, whose career didn’t take off really well in Bollywood, is yearning for a “hit film”.

“Of course, you feel bad when your film doesn’t do well. We all need success… You do feel, ‘mera number kab aayega (when will my turn come)?’ but that’s normal only. I feel I never had a hit film in my life, so I yearn for that,” Sikander told IANS.

Son of Kirron Kher and step-son of Anupam Kher, Sikander debuted in Bollywood with the film “Woodstock Villa” and did films like “Summer 2007”, “Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey”, “Players” and “Aurangzeb”.

“As an actor, I can’t really say what went wrong with my films. Maybe the scripts were not amazing or the story was not engaging. There are so many reasons. I don’t want to change anything, but I don’t look back at anything with regret,” he said.

“Today I am a happy person… whatever happened it happened for a reason.”

Sikander also mentioned that at the moment, he is open to explore various roles and not necessarily the lead roles.

“Being a star kid doesn’t make a big difference. All that matters is you have to be successful to get more work. For me, it’s not about being a hero…,” the 34-year-old said.

Currently, Sikander is busy promoting his film “Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive”, which is a sequel to Abhishek Sharma’s 2010 satire movie “Tere Bin Laden’.
