Irrfan Khan, who plays a CBI officer in ‘Talvar’, was intrigued by the case and wanted to collect and know every piece of information that was available.
Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan, who is known to put a lot of preparation into a role, took an entire month to get an insight of his character and the case of his film, ‘Talvar’ which is based on the Aarushi Talwar murder case.

Irrfan, who plays a CBI officer in the film, was intrigued by the case and wanted to collect and know every piece of information that was available. “I had asked the production team to provide all the research matter available as I wanted to get a detailed insight of the case,” says Irrfan Khan.
Before ‘Talvar’ went on floors, makers Meghna Gulzar and Vishal Bhardwaj researched the case for almost two whole years.
Talvar which is allegedly based on the Noida double murder case is slated to release on 2nd October 2015.
