Hurman Baweja’s Echo of Eco was screened at the Cannes Film Festival for select guests and invitees at the ballroom of Hotel Carlton. Echo for Eco is one of the thrity films backed by United Nations for the Visual (plz get the right name) project. Award winning director Pan Nalin has been selected to make a short film to save the enviornment that has Hurman Baweja playing the lead in it. A source said, “Pan had liked Hurman’s performance in Victory and those chose him to play the lead in it. Nalin and Baweja had several sittings for Hurman to get familiar with his role. Echo of Eco was screened at Cannes recently.”
Hurman said, “I’m honoured to be a part of a film like this that’s supported by the UN and has Pan Nalin directing it. At the same time, the film is very challenging. That’s what prompted me to be a part of this film. These film give a satisfaction that is very creatively satisfying.
