Welcome Back has done reasonably well in its second week. While maintaining its collections well, the Anees Bazmee film is now heading well towards the 100 crore mark. With 18 crore more coming in its second week, the film has now crossed the 92 crore mark and should manage to hit the century mark in one more week, or at maximum 10 days.

The film’s success has spelled good news for the industry as 2015 has seen only four films enter the 100 crore club – Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Bahubali and ABCD – Any Body Can Dance – 2. None of these has been a comedy and for the film to manage the feat in this genre, it is remarkable. This is also going to be his second 100 crore success in a row after Salman Khan starrer Ready.
With this, producer Firoz Nadiadwallah can heave a sigh of relief while Eros can continue to celebrate as they have hit the jackpot all over again in an eventful year so far. John Abraham is now looking at his third 100 crore film after Housefull 2 and Race 2, while Anil Kapoor has proven his versatility too with the film after a credible act in Dil Dhadakne Do, which saw him in an altogether different characterization earlier this year.
