Christmas is our favourite holiday, and it’s only a week away. Yay!!
With all the food, drink and gift decisions to make, what you’ll wear on Christmas day is probably at the very bottom of your priority list. If you’re living in chaos about outfit options or you have a pile of ‘don’t knows’ for what to wear to this year’s Christmas parties: YOU ARE NOT ALONE. So lift your head out of that massive pile of clothes you’ve been buried under, and take a deep breath.
Here at BandraRoad, we’re suckers for fashion festivities. Whether you’ll be spending your day vegging out on the sofa, jam-packed with family fun or filled with a shedload of mulled wine, there’s no better excuse to dress up, than on the 25th.
Here are a few inspirations to help you get festive in style.
Christmas Morning
Christmas is the one day that sleepwear really does matter. No one wants to get snapped for the family photo album in those tatty old slacks you wear to bed, circa 1990. It’s time to invest in Xmas gear (sweatshirts or pajamas) that you can wear every year while opening your presents. Look for sweatshirts with funny Christmas slogans or with cute reindeers on them. Personally, I love a Christmas onesie. If you’re being honest, you know your inner child has always wanted an adult onesie, and Christmas is the perfect holiday to indulge!
Christmas Brunch

Once the present opening is over, it’s all about indulging in a hearty Christmas feast. It’s the perfect time to wear bright colours and soft fabrics. Most importantly, it’s the best time to wear something comfortable! Don’t wear anything too tight, least you have trouble breathing after all that delicious food you just inhaled. A great dress and sneakers is always fun, but if a dress is not your thing, a nice, colourful top with some dressy pants or culottes is always a go-to option.

Christmas Night Out
At this point, you’ve probably consumed so much food and drink you’re close to bursting, but there’s still a lot of celebrations to come. A high-waisted skirt will solve all your fashion woes, especially if you’ve outdone yourself at Christmas brunch. Everyone loves a little sparkle on Christmas day – be it a dress with a metallic finish or pants with sequinned details. So have fun with your outfits, especially on a night out.

STYLE TIP:
For a night out, black dresses always work. However, a big party trend this winter is the white dress. White dresses are versatile, feminine, and look really cute. Paired with a dark lip colour and stiletto black boots, the LWD takes on a more sexy vibe.
In general, we recommend keeping your outfits comfy with loose and flowy silhouttes in bold and colourful prints! Try to incorporate some red and green into your outfits, they scream Christmas spirit.
So there you have it. A full day of fool-proof get-ups for your most stylish Christmas yet. Ho! Ho! Ho!
