Ajay Devgn On Being Meme Material Over His Elaichi Brand Advert: “It Doesn’t Matter”

Ajay Devgn, who has been often attacked by the trolls for his association with an elaichi brand, addressed the issue in an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia. When asked if he gets disturbed by the memes made on him, the Singham Again actor said, he isn’t bothered at all. The actor admitted, “It’s okay. It doesn’t matter.” Rohit Shetty chimed in and said, “I think it is done being offensive. Everyone enjoys memes now. It’s now about ‘Arre, did you see this meme?'” The actor is often joined by Shah Rukh Khan in this endorsement. Previously, Akshay Kumar was also a part of the brand endorsement.

Ajay Devgn recently joined Aamir Khan at the muhurat ceremony of Milap Zaveri’s next film Tera Yaar Hoon Main in Mumbai on Saturday. The superstars collaborated on the 1997 film Ishq, which was directed by Indra Kumar, who is the producer of the film Tera Yaar Hoon Main. Pictures and videos from the event are already viral, making fans walk down the memory lane. Aamir and Ajay teased fans with the sequel of the 1997 classic. The Singham Again actor said at the event, “I was just telling him we had so much fun on the set of Ishq, we should do another one.” Aamir Khan agreed with the actor and said, “We should yaar,” quoted Pinkvilla.

Ajay Devgn’s Diwali release Singham Again opened to mixed reviews. Singham Again has been collectively produced by Rohit Shetty, Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande under the banners of Reliance Entertainment, Jio Studios, Rohit Shetty Picturez, Devgn Films and Cinergy.
