Yesterday morning while playing squash with a friend, Tusshar Kapoor hit himself with his own racquet so badly that he had to be taken to a doctor. Says Tusshar says, "Blood was flowing everywhere — even the napkin that I was holding to my mouth got soaked. It happened when I was playing squash with my friend at the Juhu club. I was so eager to win that while playing the stroke with my right hand, I hit my mouth with the racquet!"
The actor adds that because he was a bit tense and stressed out mentally and wanted to win the game at all costs. "Finally when my mouth wouldn’t stop bleeding, I had to stop the game and rushed to Dr Agarwal."
Besides medication, his doctor gave him ice to put on his smashed lips and gums. "He said I could eat anything but to take it easy for a day or two. I plan to go back to playing squash tomorrow. I am more worried about how I will be facing media interviews for my new release Life Partner as my lips are swollen."
Tusshar is happy with the way Life Partner has picked up over the weekend after a slow start. "The collections have doubled by word of mouth. The best part of LP is that it connects to serious issues in life like marriage, relationships and friendships but dealt with in a light manner."
