I think the word sorry has lost its value in today’s time. When People say sorry, do they really mean it? People use less of sorry now”, says Sanjay Suri as he gears up for his upcoming film Sorry Bhai which will also see him turning a co-producer.
Explains Sanjay, “People do not easily say sorry. If one would forget about their egos, sorry is a great word to start afresh.”
Having worked with Onir in My Brother Nikhil and Bas Ek Pal , Sanjay Suri believes that Sorry Bhai is a much light hearted film. “Unlike Onir’s first two films My Brother Nikhil and Bas Ek Pal which were intense films, Sorry Bhai is much more light hearted. It is about one man falling in love with his brother’s fiancé. It deals in forbidden love. It has fun and romance. It is a breezy light hearted film.”
Speaking about his role Sanjay said, “I play a character named Harsh. He is extremely ambitious. For him work is worship. He wants to be extremely successful. So he gives more time to his work. The repercussion is that he neglects his personal relationships. He is also the kind of guy who likes to throw things under the carpet. He does not like to face reality. He has a stock broking company in Mauritius.”
Sanjay was pretty impressed with Chitrangda Singh acting skills. “Chitrangda is quite a natural actor. She is very easy going in front of the camera. Before her first film we had done a music video together. We are fortunate that she is working in our film. She does not seem as if she is a newcomer. She is a very seasoned actress who does her part in a very professional way.”
Sorry Bhai seems to be an interesting love story with a twist. It also stars Sharman Joshi, Boman Irani, Shabana Azmi and is slated to release on 28th November.
