If Aamir Khan can sport a new hairstyle in every film, why not the others? So when I heard that Akshay Kumar was all set for a long haired look for his forthcoming film Action Replay, I was not really surprised. Then a little birdie told me, that Akki was not really growing his hair like SRK or Salman who did it for OSO and Veer respectively. Kumar would simply be sporting a wig. Akshay had earlier sported a pigtail for a song in Chandni Chowk To China.
The little birdie revealed, “Since certain parts of the film revolve around the 70’s, both Aishwarya Rai and Akshay Kumar will be sporting the 70’s look. Akshay will be seen sporting long hair. He recently shot a mela song for the movie at Film City where he was wearing white trousers, a white shirt and red jacket. Aishwarya was wearing a yellow knee length skirt.”
Action Replay is based on a unique concept where the story moves backwards in time. Akshay and Aishwarya are coming together after five years in this film. They were last seen together in Rajkumar Santoshi’s Khakee.
