Earlier there was lot of rumours that Mani Ratnam has finalized Abhishek Bachchan for the role of Ram in his forthcoming movie Ravana. But the reality is that the character of Ram will be played by South actor Vikram according to Mani and he has selected Abhishek for the role of Ravana.First time in his career, Abhishek will played a negative role in this film . The question is whether the audience will accept him in this new avatar or not?
Except the role of Ram and Ravana, Mani has finalized Ajay Gehi and Ravi Kishan for the role of ravana’s brothers, Kumbhakaran and Vibheeshan. Mani is little confused for the role of Laksham so he has not finalized the role of Laksham till now.
Mani has decided that the movie will be shot in south India and some parts of Srilanka. This movie will be on screen in three languages- Hindi, Telugu, Tamil. Ravana will be on the floor in the first week of October.
