Bollywood Prays For The Victims Of 26/11

Bollywood Yesterday paid tribute to the victims and martyrs of the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai on its second anniversary.

"26\11 tragedy completes two years. And we are still debating about Kasab’s fate. A silent prayer for the victims and their families," wrote Anupam Kher on the microblogging site Twitter.

Abhishek Bachchan said his thoughts and prayers are with all those who lost loved ones on this day. "We will never forget," he wrote.

Rahul Bose said, "In memoriam – for all those who lost loved ones on a day that changed this city forever."

Actor R Madhavan wrote, "Heart goes out to all who lost their near and dear ones in Mumbai on this day. We will never forget."

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma wondered, "To all those sending prayers 2 sufferers of 26/11 and wishing God to be with them my question is why the hell dint he stop it in the 1st place? we will never forget that we can die any time (sic)".

National award winning director Madhur Bhandarkar said he feels sorry for the innocent lives lost and salutes the martyrs.

"Doesn’t matter how hard Mumbai is hit, it has always bounced back with a bang, with a zest of life.. Jai Hind," he wrote.

Amitabh Bachchan recalled the horrors of terrible visuals two years ago and the pride in bravery of men in uniform. " deepest thoughts and prayers for lost lives," he said.

Melody queen Lata Mangeshkar said innocents lost their lives two years ago.

"I salute the martyrs on behalf of all Indians," she wrote on Twitter.

Sonam Kapoor urged her fans to say a prayer for all victims.

"Change the negative into positive…Learn from it and spread peace, love&brotherhood," she wrote.

Preity Zinta said, "How cruel is the echo when memory plays an old tune to the heart!" Remembering all the martyrs of 26\11 & saluting their courage & spirit!"
