Priya Gill born in punjab, her father is in army. Ever since Priya first stepped under the arc lamps of tinsel town she hasn’t had much luck at the turnstiles. Her inconsequential debut in Tere Mere Sapne opposite Chandrachud Singh apart, Priya also failed to make any mark in her movies like Josh and Boney Kapoor’s Sirf Tum.
To revive her sagging career, she is trying her luck down in south. The producers of hit Tamil films like Citizen and Mugavari has signed Priya to play the female lead opposite the handsome Ajith in their latest yet-to-be-titled film. From whatever little has been revealed, Priya plays the tomboyish girlfriend of Ajith. The film, being directed by debutant director Ram Satya, also sees the comeback of Salim Ghouse who was once popular as a villain in Tamil films. Others in the credits include Rajan P. Dev, Raghuvaran and Srividya.
Her other hindi movies are Bade Dilwala, Jeetenge Hum, Shyam Ghanshyam, Sirf Tum and Josh.
She is in Harbhajan Mann’s Bhangra-Pop singer debut film Jee Aayon Noo. Renowned cinematographer Manmohan Singh will wield the megaphone for the film, while music director Jaidev Kumar will compose its songs. A great part of the film has already been canned and shooting for the remaining part is presently going on in Canada. The film is expected to hit the marquee by this year-end.
