Mira Rajput is like Dhoni in India right now, says Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Shaandaar’ director Vikas Bahl

Vikas Bahl also said that he was never unhappy with the media for quizzing Shahid Kapoor about his marriage at ‘Shandaar’ press events.

If there is one star wife who is really popular and about whom everyone is keen to know more about, it’s Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput.

The Delhi girl, who tied the knot with Shahid Kapoor, has managed to keep herself out of the media glare till now. However questions regarding her are often asked to all those people who are closely related to Shahid. And ‘Shaandaar’ director Vikas Bahl happens to be one such person.

When the National award winner was asked about Mira and how he finds her as a person, a guarded Vikas said: “She is my friend’s wife. Why will I comment? Mira is right now like Dhoni in India. Everyone is speaking or writing about both these individuals.”

Vikas Bahl, who had earlier announced that he had shown ‘Shaandaar’ to Mira, clarified that he had only shown her a few scenes to give her a first hand feel of the film.

“I have shown her certain portions and she has really liked it. She is very happy.”

Vikas also said that he was never unhappy with the media for quizzing Shahid about his marriage at Shandaar press events.

‘Shaandaar’, which has Alia Bhatt and Shahid sharing screen space for the first time, will release on October 22.
