Movie Meeruthiya Gangster Review – Jaideep Ahlawat, Aakash Dahiya

Review : Zeishan Quadri who was the screen writer of the movie Gangs of Wasseypur when thought of directing a movie then also the genre of Gangster came to his mind. The story of Gangs of Wasseypur was based on the gangster of a small town. His this film is also about the youth of small state only. It is story is about those who wants to earn crore without doing any hard work. They then choose shortcut to go to this path. This movie was released without any promotion. In this regard the film could prove weak on the box office. The location is near to meerut, NOIDA and the adjoining areas but there is nothing new in this.

Story : 6 friends of a Meerut college Nikhil, Amit, Sanjay foreigner, Sunny, Gagan and Rahul challenger after completing their studies searches for job. In the wake of getting good job they caught with a gangster who offers them the job letter against a huge amount, but all this proves to be fake. So in order to earn money fast they gets involved in kidnapping, theft and other things like these. With them Mansi is also involves who works in a big company and is the lover of one of the members of the group. She gives them the tips of kidnapping. The kidnap Jayanti lal Jain and gets a huge amount against his life. So after all these things, a police inspector R K Singh was given the duty to control all these crimes happening.

Direction : The start of the movie is great but the climax takes the movie somewhere else. Zeishan has given great focus on dialogue delivery in his first movie but more of the home work is required to make it better. The climax of the movie is really weak. But in terms of doing direction for the first time, Zeishan should be appreciated. He has done a great job on his part.

Acting : Zeishan should be appreciated for not taking a big star caste for the movie. Although the movie is a bit weak in front of Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur, but still it is good to watch. In the role of property dealer, the role of Sanjay mishra is great. In the role of gangster Jaideep is also good. The role of Mansi by Nushrat on how she fooled her own friends for her profit is great to watch. Other characters have also done justice with their respective roles.

Songs : the songs of the movie are just making the story slow. Only one or two songs are fit in regard to the story of the movie.

Why to watch : With the concept of shooting in a small town and depicting the mentality of today’s young generation on earning money fast, the story has a good base. But after interval it becomes too slow. The characters have done their best and also the story has its own impact.
