The couple got hitched as per Bengali traditions and Dino Morea was the best known face who was present at the wedding. Others preferred to put in an appearance for the after-party which boasted of an attendance that would have put some of the recently held award functions to shame. The well-heeled denizens of B-town started trooping in only post 9 pm.
Some of the prominent names that we spotted included SRK, Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, R Madhavan, Ranbir Kapoor, Abbas Mastan, Karan Kundra, Farah Ali Khan, Sushmita Sen, Sonam Kapoor, Tabu, Kunal Roy Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt with wife Maanyata, Shamita shetty with Raj Kundra, Dia mirza, Neha Dhupia, Madhur Bhandarkar, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Bhushan Kumar. Chunky pandey, Rohit Shetty, Malaika Arora Khan, Riteish Deshmukh with wife Genelia, Sunil Grover, Drashti Dhami, Ravi Dubey and Sargun, Preity Zinta, Abhay and Bobby Deol.

The family that created maximum mayhem at the red carpet was the Bachchan clan as the entire hotel gathered to catch a glimpse of Big B, Aishwarya and son Abhishek. The loudest whistles and chants were reserved for SRK and Salman. However, the man who entertained the most on the red carpet was Sanjay Dutt who asked wife Maanyata to twirl his handle bar moustache while posing for pictures.
Inside, it was Karan Singh Grover’s show as he belted out some English hits and onlookers were amazed at his singing prowess. The happy couple came out twice first to see off the Bachchan family and second to see off Salman who they were only grateful to see attend their wedding party.
