Aadesh Shrivastava had composed music for SRK’s production ‘Chalte Chalte’ and composed and sung in ‘Shaava Shaava’ from ‘Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham’ starring Shah Rukh Khan.
Music director Aadesh Shrivastava, who has had a cancer relapse for the second time and is undergoing treatment at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, has shown signs of improvement. The doctors are mighty impressed with the music composer’s valiant fighting spirit.
Aadesh who was in critical condition and had been in the hospital for the past 41 days, is now responding to the treatment.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who has always considered him family, also dropped in last night (September 2) and it was a nostalgic moment when two old friends met. It’s also said that Aadesh easily recognised SRK and they shared a warm camaraderie.

There were reports that Aadesh Shrivastava was disappointed when his friends from the film industry did not turn up to meet him while he battled cancer in 2010. But this time around, Aadesh’s brother-in-law had said: Lalit noted that “everyone that he has worked with have come to meet him” this time.
Earlier, melody queen Lata Mangeshkar had also tweeted showing concern over Aadesh Shrivastava’s deteriorating health condition and prayed for his fast recovery. Many people from Bollywood have dropped in. Shekhar Kapur, Suchitra Krishnamoorthy, Poonam Dhillon, Anu Mallik, Jaspinder Narula, Abhijeet and many others visited him.
