Kangana Ranaut, 28, who is enjoying success in Bollywood with two back-to-back hits, says she wants to enjoy motherhood at some point in her life but right now is too busy to think about it.
Kangana Ranaut spoke about motherhood while commenting on live-in relationships and marriage. “I think live-in relations are overrated. People should be given their space. The way marriages are crumbling these days, I don’t have anything to say but I am looking forward to motherhood. I am 28 and my mother keeps saying, ‘Don’t you want a family or something’ and I tell her that may be at some point,” said Kangana while promoting ‘Katti Batti’ in Mumbai.
While actresses like Sushmita Sen have already become mother through adoption, Kangana rules out that option. “I don’t think I will adopt. I would want to change diapers. It’s hard work and I would like to take that responsibility.”
Professionally, Kangana is happy that success came calling late in her life. “The best part of my success is that came late. Had it happened when I was a teenager, I would have ended up like my character. Because at 28, you are very balanced as a woman and that affects your perspective to everything. So I am happy that I am tasting success now as I am more mature now. You wouldn’t want to wish for success when you are very young. It can be very hard to deal with,” explained Kangana.
